Reads like a personal attack. Why don't you tell him your complaints to his face. Note: I don't know the stories behind the whole scenario, just trying to maintain forum integrity
Both of them banned. I made it PERFECTLY clear to Tim that the Pearl and Garcia drama was to stay off this forum. He made the complaints to the government and then came here and posted the nonsense d*mn well knowing that he was the one who created the problem in a pathetic attempt to get people to talk sh*t about JR and/or the Pearl/Garcias. The rule is simple: You will NOT come on this forum and talk bad about ANY business or person with the sole intention of harming their reputation. I don't care who it is or what they have done. Both violating members have been permanently banned. (I did not give Tim an infraction because we had exchanged private messages where I explained, IN GREAT LENGTH, why I would not tolerate him talking bad about JR or the pearl.) I will not take the time to type it all out again so I will just quote my PM to Tim, as it applies to EVERYONE on this forum: I hope everyone understands that the type of bullshit that happened in this topic will not be tolerated on this forum. I will normally give infraction points (which work as a warning system) to members who violate the rule but in certain circumstances I will go straight for the ban.
i agree with your decision to keep that personal argument away from the forum. Most of us do not know about or give a crap about the saga of what transpired and given you have cleaned up the forum and pointed us positively forward they need to take it offline. I consider one of the banned guys a friend and understand his passion but they need to find another media or solution other than our now peaceful forum, please.
I know both JR and Tim. I have a problem with neither. I don't go into Tim's house throwing fits and loudly insulting all his neighbors and I don't go into the Pearl or Garcia's and start insulting customers or breaking beer bottles all over the place. I don't know why they think it would be appropriate to bring their nonsense into this forum. Have some respect please, if you don't I might just come over and teach you some.
I hate to admit it, but my being a member of DI certainly adds to the dilution of integrity to the forum, but what can I do? I was born this way
