You can stock up on jars of jalapenos at Robinson's. They have 2 different brands available (at least they did yesterday, because I bought 3 jars). They had applesauce one time. I purchsed one jar at that time, regretted not buying more. That is the problem here....they get an item stocked for a short time, then you never see it again.

Where were they located? I have yet to figure out their shelf stocking location ideology.

This is a great opportunity for Big Boys. I will be going there again. Had a decent frozen pizza crust with sauce a while back for P50.

We went there ( Big Boy Liquor) yesterday and bought apple sauce, and Campbells tomato soup which I have been looking for for almost 4 years. We bought some sauerkraut, red cabbage, and also some Campbells chicken noodle soup. Prices were quite competitive. We would have bought some frozen products also but we did not have ice in our cooler and were not headed directly home. They said they get new stock, deliveries on Wednesday.
I wonder why they don't have a sign out-side advertising the food & imported products ? Had I not seen this info on DI I would have never stopped at a liquor store to buy such things.
We'll make a list of suggested items to stock and give it to them on our next trip there in a week or two.

Good luck to this store, but i think they will struggle in Dumaguete due to the amount of frugal type foreigners living there,

i had UK Branston baked beans,,, loads of them ,, was selling at a price similar to the uk supermarket prices,,, how many customers from around 5 people that said they wanted to buy them? 0! yes 0 not one person, even had a restaurant owner tell me he wanted to buy them all, , never heard from him again?
In angeles city there is supposed to be around the same amount of expats there, i sold over 1000 cans in 2 days to 1 person, i dont get it as dumaguete is also not an easy place to get supplies logistically to.

some strange types for sure, i can only wish this store the best of luck and i for one wil be stopping by when in town
