    Happy ending for Mr. Berger and his Fiance'e.....
    according to Sunstar Cebu.... 4.18 PM today.

    My information suggests that if the mayor of Cebu had not interceded the Norwegian would have been railroaded into jail when he had an alibi and cooperated fully with authorities...

    It is an item of concern..... I also understand the police chief was forced to resign over this

    The death of a child is horrendous enough but the incarceration of two obviously innocent people should be of concern to everybody

    My information is that the Norwegian and his wife were apprehended at the airport on a very flaky composition sketch(does not look like them; even wrong hair color)....later a pimp and four young boys ID them as the abductors....(The pimp later recanted his ID).... The Norwegian submitted an alibi which included hotel video tape confirmation..... When the mayor of Cebu inquired the police chief lied to her and said the hotel tapes were "private".....unavailable.....when the mayor contacted the Edgeweater....the manager said the police chief had watched the tapes.....confirmed the Norwegians alibi.... The mayor demanded the police chiefs resignation....the Norwegian and his wife were released
