Please be a where that there is a scam taking place on Ayos dito, Buy sell Philippines, and I am sure other sites: cool:
They are advertising cars and bikes for sale a cheap prices, telling you they have all the necessary papers for reg, the vehicle is not in the Phills, so far I have tracked 2 the first one was in Italy and now we have one in UK.
They want you to place 50% in a bogus holding account, before shipping, with the promise of you being able to test the vehicle for 7 days on arrival.
Of course only a idiot would fall for this, but there is one born every day.
    Take care Guys.
Don’t forget if its to good to be true, it is:wink:

Thank you for the info leica. Small info like this is a great help knowing the modus operandi Of these people. I for One am also looking at this sites but never tried negotiating for any of their items.
I think ebay has ways and means of dealing like this like procurement in the internet wherein you can buy items thru paypal. But if you receive the item and found out that it is faked, you can actually tell paypal to cancel the payment in ebay. This is a way iof protecting the buyers also. I only heard this from Leo Laporte. But never tried the real
    thing.

Ayos Dito, Sulit, and eBay.ph all have sections to inform people how not to be scammed, if people would only read them!

I have items for sale on all 3 and do except PayPal. It never ceases to amaze me how many people who sell on these websites will accept and advertise that they accept direct bank deposits and list all (I have seen up to 5!!) their account numbers!

On a weekly basis I have "buyers" who are trolling asking questions and ultimately request if they can pay by direct deposit to my bank. That is what they are after! Account numbers and no more! eBay.ph protects their sellers and buyers the most. If a buyer forwards a message to a seller on eBay.ph the buyers info is forwarded to the seller along with their IP address!! It never ceases to amaze me when a "buyer" says they are at "X" location and are actually across the world in "Z"! I had one "buyer" saying "she" was in New York and wanting to buy something from me to ship to Nigeria, while "she" was actually sitting behind a computer in The Netherlands!!

It used to be....."Buyer Beware", now the same applies to sellers!!
