Hi Pat, I used the VA facilities in Seattle for years when living on Whidbey Island. The facility is huge and was well managed at that time (pre-2013). In my experience, three weeks is inadequate to schedule appointments, especially with specialists. Try using MyHealtheVet or calling the national help desk at 877-327-0022. Good Luck!
Thanks Tim, greatly appreciated. My sister in Seattle is on the phone with them explaining my condition and timeframe to see what can be worked out. If the primary care can hook me up with a neurologist during that timeframe I will consider it a success. Everything else is not as urgent.
I am not really involved in this - I am one of the lucky ones who never had to fight in any conflict. But I am very respectful and grateful to those who did, some voluntarily and some not. I am here now, a free man, due to others. Peace to you all and the best for your lives.
