The Self Sustainability and Energy Saving thread has been moved to the property development forum, and a sticky applied so it will always stay on top.

I wonder if the store selling solar panels and stuff, that Denpet is dealing with , would like to do some advertising on the site?

Panels arrived yesterday. 120pc of them. Now I will just have to plan how to install them and what inverter types to use. Will do when I'm back home.

Noreco II here on Negros will now buy back any solar generated electricity you generate and do not use.

Here is a 3KW grid tied system in Dauin.

What do you do if a typhoon hits? Take the panels down? Or pray they don't get ripped off the roof, just saying.

I wouldn't be concerned that they will get "get ripped off the roof" but I might fasten some plywood over them so they don't get damaged by high speed or falling debris during a direct hit from a typhoon as the face of them is glass - tempered glass, but still glass.
