Unfortunately, the companies are few who will transport to dumaguete and they want to know the size dimensions, or how many boxes and that is not possible unless i found someone to take it all apart and box it up because i am disabled and cant do it myself. I tried to get a per pound, or in this country, per kilo price, but no one could give me a quote that way. So backwards and non common sense, one of the things you have to accept living in this country i suppose. So i contacted a real estate agent in dumaguete and she told me about some brokerage companies. i found a couple in Tagbilaran that say they do ocean frieght and l listed the items to be shipped and am waiting for a quote. In the interim, i thought to myself. hey, do they have any storage facilities in dumaguete? some place i can store small amounts of cargo/boxed items brought along with me on trips to dumaguete like on ocean jet? I know it would take some time and i may lose out on the wonderful place on the beach i would like to rent, but my wife and myself are not happy living in what has become a slum lord property here in the unkept, holey streets of Tagbilaran, and all the muslims and immigrants they have moved into this facility who cause a lot of problems and all of us western expats are looking for someplace else to move. All these items are new, bought in last six months. Oh, the question is, do they have a storage company to keep your belongings in like in the west in dumaguete?

I used a door to door service when I moved from Olongapo to Dumaguete. They build a crate, packed everything up, delivered it to Dumaguete via ferry, and then unloaded the crate. I tried going through my emails to find the company but couldn't find anything. If I recall the total price was under $1000 USD.

Phone calls just waste load, if you can even get through with the numbers provided, as no one can give me any solid info, price etc. I lost out on a very nice place on the beach now. I will try again to move next month. In the meantime, anyone know any property with large bedroom near water?
