Yes, I am new to the Philippines. And I am not sure exactly what your comment infers in total, perhaps you are giving me a sincere welcome, and/or including an innuendo, that maybe my Family cannot be trusted ?

If I am incorrect about the latter, please accept my apology, but if I am correct, I suggest that sort of comment is very offensive and totally unnecessary.

Again, I must stress if I am misreading your intent, please forgive me.

    Peace.

    Paul.

I wish you all the best Paul, but trying to set the in-laws up in a business here is rarely successful and often ends up being very costly and frustrating for the well-intentioned foreigner.
But this is also one of those things that you'll probably have to learn about for yourself.
Just don't put more money into it than you can afford to lose.

Yes, I thought I read your offensive, rude and unnecessary comments correctly Manzanita, so no apology from me is required.

It amazes me the number, and type of negative attitudes I have seen expressed here from Foreigners toward the Philippine people.

Those Foreigners are not very good Ambassadors for their own Country and it does not help the Philippine people warm to them, or breed good relations between the cultures.

In many other Countries around the world, Families going into business together fail quite often, whether it be in the US, Australia, UK or wherever, it matters not the Race of the people involved, it is totally dependent on the Leader of the Enterprise to structure it correctly to succeed and not to fail. And, in the event of a failure, to make sure the original Capital invested to float the business, remains safe.

    As I said, before - Peace:smile:

Paul, I apologize for having made such a condescending previous post, good luck with whatever enterprise you decide to go with.
