The temperature dropped a week ago down to 79 or 80 degrees F and has stayed there and ever since ive had bouts of fever/chills ,weakness and some headache that last a few hours and then subside and most of the day I'm ok but mornings, and evenings are usually bad, since its not constant and chronic only for an hour of the day and not every day I havnt gone to doctor but still I'm only guessing its a local flu or common thing everyone tells me happens when it rains and cold sets in.. + I know its flu season in hawaii but if any one has reason to think i should worry please inform me of your experience.its been off and on for almost 2 weeks now for me..

Tunji, I have had the same thing for about the same amout of time. My wife has been giving me a flu tablet called "Bioflu" and it helps.
Also there is some kind of fruit tree outside our door that is blooming, and it could be pollen from that.
I have switched to herbal tea in the evenings (from coffee) with a local honey in it. That also helps the congestion for me.

TO & Ron, Thank Goodness for the Posts, I thought it was me having a Mid-Life. Hot, Cold, Shivers and Shakes, Sneezing and a Little coughing, we too have some Fruit trees in bloom and Azon thinks that this may be the answer, I have not had a high temperature, just these silly symptoms that are so annoying. I feel lethargic too in the Morning and late evening. Hope it changes soon though as I feel Non-Smiley which is not me at all.
Hope we all get better soon:D

To each of you, a rapid recovery and nothing serious. We got soaked on the bike going home from town today so we will stay warm and hope it doesn't escalate. I am taking plenty of my red wine medication to kill any bugs. Seriously, take care and get some of those inexpensive flu pills at the pharmacy that actually work for some of us.

Ah good to hear your bad news guys ,sorry for your pain but hey,i feel good to know its not about me alone crawled in a hole dying of who knows what,,the landlord and folks at home got me bio flu, paracetamol and ibuprofen, all i took was half a paracetamol because the bioflu uses a powerful aneasthetic aide which i fear(phenylephrine?)I looked that up in the dictionary..I feel like a million bucks this afternoon although I coming from feeling a 2 million buck deficit over the last few days,,I spend most of the day feeling perfect so i wont waste on a doctor until some poor tiny pinoys have to carry me to the doctors...Thanks and get well soon evryone

Usually hot in daytime (cold at night) so feel poor most days. Been feeling well for few days.

So maybe you all should look for pollen as allergen. Hope you find cause and do so quickly.

Hey, you guys with allergy's need to know, that consuming wild honey, made from the pollens that you're allergic to, will nullify the symptoms completely.

Trust me, it's an old Pinoy natural cure that works.
