The Silliman University was founded by American Presbytarians in 1901 - This is the oldest American established University in Asia. The University was named after Dr. Horace Silliman becuase it was started through a donation made by him. Which makes Silliman University 105 years old this year. Anyways... The whole city was celebrating a few months ago when the University had its 105th anniversary. I will sure attend next years festivities too. I really enjoyed sitting in the tents on the Boulevard sipping a cold San Miguel Light looking out on the ocean...
