I wonder what the canadian and norweigen policy is on paying ransoms? That is a lot of money, one headline read $63!
Governments paying ransom only encourages the activity and gives these terrorists the money they need to go kill more innocent people. 60 million might save six people now but how many will be killed in the future from the guns, ammunition and explosives that money buys? Sucks for those kidnapped and I wouldn't want to be in their position but.....
