Sky Cable Internet really SUCKS! Where have they been the last 15 years? Problem longer than one year in Dumaguete. Manager A.Tabaco do not care about any customer! Sent several e-mails....NO RESPONSE! LOOK AT THE # PICTURES PING SUCKS DOWNLOAD SUCKS UPLOAD DOUBLE SUCKS WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK NOW!
I agree..... it is less than Half of a Mbps, measured in MEGABIT/second megabyte or megabits...who cares...it really sucks!

We were going to try Sky BUT obviously not now, Thank You for all the Updates malmo, We have been on Smart bro for some time now and that is getting a little unrealiabl at Peak Times, Do you have any information on Globe that will be useful in detemining if we should change or not! In town we have little problems but at Home in Batinguell it gets irratating. We will use the House in Valencia more now Little one is older, so I was going to put a Desk Top in, With the laptop of course we can move around for a better signal. Any Suggestions will be very helpful. :o Jack P.
The reason I am still with Sky is that they are online most of the time. But the last year the speed have been heavily reduced. Pretty near impossible to play any online game or have a decent communication using Skype. GLOBE is different and most of the time their signal is around 1.5 Mbps, but often if not most days in the afternoon there is no signal from GLOBE. I live in Lower Bagacay. Sky is on wire, but Globe is wireless here. You are right.....the words are...VERY IRRITATING. I question the legalities here.....defrauding the public. In my contract the offer a minimum of 1 Mbps...but they never deliver..... They just take our money. To the Manager Mr. AT Tabaco, Sky Cable Dumaguete I sent 8 e-mails and asked him to respond, but he is always in hiding, also in the office they say he is never available. I would like to sign up for Globes wired business program 3 Mbps, but don't know what the qualifications are. In Cebu and Manila, Sky is offering 4+ Mbps...Why not here? They have the equipment here, but maybe no service personel. Skype Internet is a missmanaged company for sure!
WOW! Today I received a phonecall from a very nice lady at Sky Cable Dumaguete in regards to slow Internet connection. The following was explained to me. Sky Cable Internet ISP, in Dumaguete is NOT provided by Sky Cable it is being provided by ZeePeeDee ISP, and first now I understand the problem. ZeePeeDee sucks.
