John - we can do the same as we did before. I distributed all of those that I got from you last time and they were very well appreciated by people who have no electricity. I kept 3 for myself. If you wish, go ahead and order a case. Those who want them can get them from you, and I guarantee to take the remainder.

Just got a reply from Manila on the d.light S2. Price per unit, with purchase of a box of 24 is 441p plus a small amount for shipping. I will order a box and should have them by the end of the week. If you’re interested I can meet you downtown. My only request is if you buy one, you buy at least one extra to give away. If you’d like to contact the company directly, email Jhun.Mallanao@connectplace.com. I have had very good results with this company in the past year.

John I'll take two (or more) if they are not yet all spoken for. I know a very deserving family that does not have electricity.
I can meet you anywhere and pretty much anytime.

John, that's a good tactic and a nice sentiment. They're inexpensive enough, and would make a welcome Christmas gift to a poor family. When poor families have some light, there is an indirect bonus. Many small children from poor families end up in hospital with burns and scalds, some terribly disfigured for life, caused when the families are preparing hot food in near darkness. Whilst these lights won't prevent every case happening, they will go some way to preventing some.

I received the shipment of 24 lights today - should be plenty to go around. I'll have them at McDonalds Friday morning from 10-11, and probably again Monday morning. I live in Dauin. PM me if you'd like to make other arrangements to pick up a few. My price is 450p per light.

The lights that John got last year are pretty good still, so if these are even better then that's good news.

@johncarson. Once everyone has taken what they want, give me a call and I will arrange to meet you to take the remainder.
