That is true. Here is something to consider, I am not making any accusation, just stating the obvious. The President accused ABS-CBN of not airing his ads when he was running for President. Who was the President's running mate? Alan Cayetano. Who is the Speaker of the House? Alan Cayetano. Nope, the President had absolutely nothing to do with this.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this might be close to being a prohibited political post. But maybe not; after all, there are quite a few republics that do in fact export bananas.

I believe it was the Congress who denied the NTC license renewal. An apology to the President does not reverse the vote in Congress. Already they are talking about using had newly released public frequencies for remote schooling; however, ABS-CBN owns the transmitting equipment and towers/antennas. Former employees need to hope there is new owner coming soon.
