Survival Skills necessary for the Philippines to live with happiness

Are we speaking of the helmet laws here again? or the LTO mission statement and goals.

    "Land Transportation Office (LTO) Mission

We are committed to work towards the rationalization of Land Transportation Office services and facilities, and to implement effectively the various transportation laws, rules and regulations in coordination and collaboration with other government agencies, business sector, civil society and other stakeholders.Towards this end, we are determined to:
    Put order on the roads
    License quality drivers
Register roadworthy and emission – free motor vehicles
    "

These are good examples of subjectively implemented laws and mission statements. Although by foreign standards this may be corrupt, it works in the Philippines to a survival existence. Corruption is the basic law of the Philippines, and you must remember whose field you are playing on.

A little research will show laws are implement (enforced) subjectively and with personality influences, in the Philippines, Negros Oriental and Dumaguete too. The skill of being aware of the political aspects of the law enforcement here will help anyone survive here and eliminate getting you head bashed in or teeth knock out, "set-up" for arrest or being deported. This is an important awareness skill in survival techniques necessary for the Philippines. The sooner this skill is learned the more time you will spend in a happy state.

BTW: It has happened for much lessor offenses.

(for saying beauty pageant contestants from Cebu "might need translators".)

Ramon Bautista persona Non Grata | The DailyPedia
(Comedian made persona non grata for making a joke about Davao.)

Cebu to ban Rico J. Puno? | MegaScene
(another comedian made a joke about Cebu. Don't know if it followed through)

?Dislike Philippines? video ?embarrasses Cebu, country? | Sun.Star
(American made video about the things he dislikes about the Philippines....even though he previously made a video about things he loved about the Philippines.)

Just saying......it's not unheard of for city/provincial governments to declare a person "persona non grata". Don't think it is only for diplomats and don't think you will get a court hearing. Mr. Cohen would be wise to back up and live a less public life in the Philippines......before someone plants this idea into the head of someone with the power to make it happen.

I'm sorry, I just followed my own link to the comedian and found the resolution that declared the guy persona non grata. You gotta read it. Funny.

For those who don't know, "hipon", is similar to the saying "butterface" (her body is great, but her face) in English. "When I say Hi, you say pon." LMAO. Too funny. Still laughing.
