⌛ spam on cell phone or unanswered text?

Since I put my telephone number on this board, I have been getting some spam on the cell phone. It is not that I am being bombed, but it is irritating to be interrupted for that stuff.

I may have ignored some messages from some people who like to mess up text messages. So if you have sent me an SM to which you expected a reply, but have not received one, pop for a voice call. If you cannot afford to do so you could send simple text which has been run through a spell checker. If your name looks like a password use a (recognizable) nickname. I answer a good proportion of SMs and virtually all voice calls which ring for 40 or more seconds. (I rarely reply to missed calls which are not worth more than one ring.)
