Semper Fi to all my fellow hard charging devil dogs! Not as lean, not as mean, but ALWAYS a Marine!
How many there are of us here ? post your boot camp platoon number and year of graduation
Plt 2043 MCRD 1969 and yes a proud Hollywood Marine who when some went to the Moon while I went to the Nam
Don't post your platoon number here. Now everyone in Mickey D's will be backed up with some more bla bla bla.. hehehehe
I will make an effort to be civil in response to your sarcastic, trollish comment so here goes....
Would that be because you have no platoon number... If you did not serve then just observe ... PM me if you would like me to be more explicit
Tired of letting trollish comments irritate me... so long and Rye who thought that last comment funny on this Veterans Day... you may not be proud of your NC Radio Warrior service.... but tired of your childish Moderation on this board... please delete this account
I served and very proud of it,, you get way to serious here as if you haven't noticed there are more Special Forces, Green Beret's, CIA. Scout Rangers, Navy Seals etc here in Macdonalds than there are in the USA.
It was a joke about all the guys at McDonald's that claim special forces service (though I don't think there are actually that many making these claims anymore)...it is a long running joke on this forum.
Also, what is NC Radio Warrior service? Is it an inside joke with Marines? NC is non-combat? I did serve in Iraq with the Army, though I wasn't a grunt or truck driver.
Not sure what you are on about with how I feel about my time serving in the military or contracting with the government since I have said nothing in this thread about it. Anyways, happy Veterans Day.
Grunt in 3/7, 1/9, 3/5
Don't go Dan, I agree, someone doesn't know the difference between Moderator and poster. If you decide to leave, you will be missed.
In regard to Platoon number and year, as there are so many other Command Forces out there other than just Marine.. I was 3 Platoon 1979..... will never forget bootcamp and all the efforts it took equaled only to all the darn fun it was.
