    I am leaving from Manila around April 20 and driving back to Dumaguete, the long way. Via Leyte and Samar. I have no idea what I am in for.

    Just finished the drive from Manila to Dumaguete.

    We went via Laguna, Bicol, Samar, Leyte, Cebu. Fantastic. Easy ferry crossings, no hassles. The national highway was mostly in good condition. Off the highway, the roads went to sh*t. Anyone wants more information, just let me know as I am happy to share. (I prefer to share over a beer than a keyboard though)
