It is hard getting there but once you do all of your stress and anger just seems to melt away.

My stress and anger disappeared the moment I accept I will never understand that behavior. An example, I will never understand why "someone" will cheat you for 10 pesos today when they can earn 100 pesos on you tomorrow if the threat you fair and we can go on. but again not all Filipino have that behavior and I know some Filipinos who have great skills in "thinking out of the box"

In an alternate box of thinking, possibly his/hers, when he had stickers there was no need to order more because after all, he hadn't run out yet.

The out of stock is another stupid thing. Yesterday I was in Lee Plaza, 4 items on my list out of stock, Hypermart have the same owner but I guess not the same manager, Can it be so difficult to keep a mall in stock with items which are very common. I prefer to do my shopping in Hypermart and Robinson but was in city to do something else. I was not surprised and accept it's a part of living in the Philippines, can't disturb my peace of mind

Well, out of stock has a special meaning in the Philippines:

    1. It is out of stock
    2. The claim it is out of stock, but they never had it anyway.
    3. They have it on stock. But the salesman/lady is too lazy to have a look if it is available or not.
    4. They don't know what you are asking for.
    5. They understand what you are looking for and could make a phone call to order it for you. Too much work. Out of stock.

Somehow I believe that this is part of the culture. When you go shopping for items you want, very seldom will you be able to find everything you want in one store or super market. They make you go to other shops, maybe it is part of the sharing the wealth process rather than having competing prices and attempting to draw the customers that way. I usually walk, so the added exercise is a bonus I guess.

This brings up a great point. One side of the argument is the idea that the customer is always right and that an adversarial experience meant the staff must be mental. Another argument is that a business has a right to refuse. One of the conditions of refusal could be a customer's insistence on changing the experience that a service business has been designed to provide. Changes to that design could be a negative. Maybe the business feels it's best to not go there. Why argue?

You argue because you like to argue. Someone is wrong, and you feel the need to correct it. You are blessing the world with your logic.

Funny thing was, she WAS the boss, and I assumed that she was acting on corporate rules, being that they have to put the powder on the plain cross cut fries.
Yes, you have to learn quickly when living in the Philippines: "When in Rome...."
