30 min into the game, the signal came on ... lets hope they can enjoy to the end :-) Well they got the game going but the signal was lost during the last minute of the game, after NY scored and NE still had a chance to win. Had to wait until I drove home to find out the final score. About 35 guys and a couple of wives showed up. Guess we will have to watch the "other" football now that the NFL is over, and settle for many exciting 1-0 or 1-1 scores.
Just for those of you that want to know the reason you did not have permission is because the IP on your internet connection showed you were not in the U.S. You have to use an IP spoofer then you can connect to any U.S. sight. There are several free ones but I pay a small amount for a year. Thats how I get netflix MLB package all the networks ect.
with the internet there does the slingbox work ok or is there too much pixeling from the speed of the internet?
The Slingbox I had hooked up from Makati to Carlsbad California worked better than the setup that was used here. We had intermittent freezing which was annoying but aside from the beginning and the end, the game was good to watch. Sort of like your appetizer and dessert being crappy while the main course was minimally acceptable.
All (mostly) OK at Honeycomb.... Well after some hard work by some of the guys we got reception at the end of the 1st quarter..... We enjoyed the game...especially the few NY fans in attendance..... All went well til the Giants went ahead with one minute to play and we lost the signal..... we got the news of the last minute thru other internet sources ....but it was all over by then.. While not the perfect situation....I think that most people had a good time.... Thanks to those that put it together Howard S
