TAMBOBO ON RED ALERT

Several weeks ago intelligent agencies uncovered a plot hatched by people out of Mindanao to travel to Negros and kidnap some one in the Dauin area. This intelligence was received through the intercept of phone calls and was deemed plausible. The authorities acted pro-actively and moved assets into place to counter the threat. I for one am happy that they acted as they did. No word yet whether that threat has passed.

 

I don't think they should be putting it out there that they were intercepting phone calls. New plans to kidnap will be sent through other means of communications and the government will be in the dark. These guys will adapt and find ways to get around government surveillance.
