This is more towards The Dane/site admins. I'm curious if it has ever been considered for this forum. I'm a user of this app and when I do a search for a forum I always do it with the application first. I always prefer forums that use that reader as most forums are not smart phone and tablet friendly (entering, editing text and breaking up quotes in the text field can be a pain, adding pictures is impossible when then come from my tablet). Since this last update to the forum it has become very VERY irritating to post here as this updated text field does not like tablets at all. If Tapatalk is not a possibility then perhaps some of the issues I have could be resolved with software settings or something else. Here's what I'm experiencing using my tablet. *When I hit the backspace button (and hold down to delete at a faster rate) the cursor jumps up in the middle of the field and deletes stuff I didn't mean to delete. *I have a predictive text keyboard. For whatever reason when I spell some words wrong and it corrects the word the cursor jumps back about ten words and inserts the word I was typing there. It does not do this with all autocorrected words for some reason. It's completely random. This is not only happening with this specific keyboard application but with the stock android keyboard as well (when the spell check is used). *Copy/Paste. Whenever I try to paste something it gets thrown up in the first couple words of the post. With the new update it is impossible for me to copy any text. *Adding pictures. I can add pictures through a link but not by uploading it from my gallery. I am able to select the picture to upload but once selected the option for "load" goes away and impossible to load. *Longer posts. Whenever I have a longer post and it needs to scroll down the text goes off screen and I can't see what I'm typing. When I scroll in the text box it's very difficult and really is a pain. I usually don't try. (which is why many of my posts are edited as I go back and fix typos). These are my main problems. There are some smaller things going on but I can't think of them off the top of my head so it can't be that important. Another benefit for me would be that the site is rarely working for me. I get "web page not available" more often than not when browsing the site. This is due to my Internet provider I believe. When I come to the site I have to activate my VPN with a US IP address to be able to load the forum. I really don't like to do this as it slows to my Internet connection. I'm don't know if Tapatalk would fix that issue or not as I don't know exactly why the site won't work for me most of the time.
P.S.S Tapatalk is starting a monetization of the app by adding advertisements and sharing profits with forum owners.
I don't use Tapatalk, but I do have a tablet I use most of the time. I have had many issues with using my tablet when making posts, here or on other websites, i.e., Facebook. I have found it much easier to create my post on notepad, then copy/paste the post from there to wherever I am trying to post to. Can't help with the other problems, and not even sure this helps with the posting problems using Tapatalk. I think I get credit for at least trying?? :-)
