    What I wonder about, is why don't they build these bridges 15' above the river bed. I have my own opinion. Perhaps a zip line would be an alternative to a new bridge.

    I went to look about 30 minutes ago. Muddy on the Forest Camp side (6-12 inch deep maybe) but passable, watched a dozen or so cars/pickups/motorcycles take turns in each direction. I stayed on the Valencia side as didn't see a reason to get muddy twice.

    Don't know if Valencia residents are aware, but the bridge just before Tejeros was washed away during the deluge yesterday. Another job for Philsouth.
