I concede. I do have 3 favorites here.
My house Friday dinner with wine
My house Saturday dinner with wine
My house Sunday dinner with wine
(The king of all were the rib eye dinners Shawn brought me from Korea. Thank you again Shawn)

Esturya Tapas and Bar is new, on Hibbard about 20m north of Tres Bistro, 150m north of Harolds Mansion at Aldecoa/Don Carlos Gothong. Only open for dinner. If you like Kri, you'll like Alima also...
(PS, flamin grill is right there too, could be one of the best bbq)

I eat sandwiches for lunch at Bogarts or Why Not once a week or so.
Pizza and most pasta's are good at Pasta King.
Casablanca has nice food, but small portions.
Any Jollibee if you want fried chicken.

Nothing else stands out as special or noteworthy. Most menus are plain and generic. Others are overpriced or just not worth it for various reasons.

It only recently opened and they seem to have put a large amount of cash into it. The downside for me was the traffic noise and the uninteresting menu (in that once you had been a few times you had tried all that you liked).

I liked it there because of their mango shake and the view (but as I said above, that came with traffic noise).

A similar type restaurant (with ocean view) set maybe 50m back from the highway would be great.

Also, if I opened a restaurant locally then I would visit perhaps 20 others beforehand and see what was on their menus and what people were ordering. Then pick the best (perhaps the easiest to prepare and most profitable) and not waste time offering things that people don't want. That is modelling (or 'copying' if you like!). That is exactly how I ran my businesses (not restaurants) in the past.
