Makes me wonder why some here don't take things into their own hands. Direct theft and criminal activity of a sort. I'd be to tempted to hire some out of town thugs and have the entire issue vanish.
I policeman friend told me once that "anything is possible in the Philippines". I am not sure it is absolutely necessary to go out of town. Not knowing the exact situation, and the parties involved however, it goes without saying that one has to pick his spots carefully here. These people are territorial, never forget, are vindictive, hold grudges forever, and things can be done on the cheap, in return. Years later, someone might open their mouth about the situation, the secrets out, and then one of your relatives is hurt. They would rather harm one of your loved ones, if only to see you suffer.
