For the most part this is a complete waste of time. It regurgitates numerous issues that are irrelevant to the relationship between China and the West. (testing of the atomic bomb in the Marshal Islands, various anti war protests against bases in Okinawa, etc.) Another journalist trying to "make work" for themselves.
It does have a little footage interviewing Eric X. Li who has an interesting perspective on the differences between China and the US.
You can watch discussions with Eric below and save a lot of time. The discussion of the party's organizational department is interesting.
