⌛ The Only River: Save Banica

A portion of Banica River the only source of water in Dumnaguete City. The future generation - Children needs your help in preserving the only source of water.

 

My wife can remember this river all clean and not clogged with weed and rubbish across from Colon was all flields with butterflys and all sorts of trees, then Dgte got overcrowded Her childhood memories smashed to bits. Even in my time going to dgte it has changed ask someone directions or ask for a name no one knows everyone has moved there from other areas. Gong to my Mum in laws I cannot hardly get a small bike down there in the old days you could drive a jeep down! Ever tried to walk along the concrete wall there at night? Err with no torch! you gotta know it well! many a time I had to stop and get my bearings!
