This was the reason of the Means Test, there were 5 major test to qualify to ensure each Country had the means to be a member, Greece scraped through by the narrowest of Margins. They were Given so many years to come up to scratch, they haven't so this is the end result. Those that took a bail out from the bank have now repaid and seem to have settled in again. Greece were to my Opinion always going to be a loose cannon but as with many Things Brussels ruled and took on a bankrupt Country with a view to them getting it right in the end, now we see that they didn't and can't, so take to the People. In the End looking at all this I think there is every chance the EU will fold eventually

The UK did not with 2 or 3 others, ever go with the Eurozone Brigade and as we see from the exchange rate, a right Decision was made. The Anti Shengen move also proved Successful. Although it has been a pain now as it is greatly affecting our Wives from obtaining a UK Visa.

Greeks have started a "GoFundMe" campaign whereas they are asking €3 from each citizen to make the debt payment.

PARIS (Reuters) - By pure chance, Greece will gain fractionally more time to meet a midnight deadline on Tuesday to pay its IMF debts - thanks to a move by international time arbiters in the Paris Observatory to add one second to the world's clocks.

Paris time lords extend Greek deadline - by a second| Reuters

Greece now has an extra second to pay off the debt. :wacky:

I think they need more of a fraction of anything. Greece wants 50 billion Euros on top of what it owes.

Huh? They can't pay off their current debt but they are asking for more? In what universe does that make sense? Oh wait, this universe: I can't even get Visa to extend my credit line past $300 on the one credit card I have and I always pay on time (no credit is apparently worse than bad credit....that's what I get for only buying what I can afford).
