wow this is very nice, that foreigners are helping our children here in Dumaguete city. i wish i could be of help too as i want also to do this kind of thing. But unfortunately i dont have extra money,i am a single mom and have to look after my son. I just wish that you will all be blessed more.Spread love on Christmas!
Thanks for your support Reema. It isn't just foreigners involved in this - there are also a number of Filipinas working their socks off behind the scenes. Help in any form is always welcome - it doesn't have to be financial or material, just your presence can be of a great help too. I know that we will definitely need a little help at the hospital to hand the gift bags out, and in situations like that, particularly where the new born babies are concerned, a female presence is more than welcome. As you're a single mum, I hope that things go well for you and your son this Christmas, and thanks for your appreciation. Roger

Rhoody, great post and great work by you and Rechel and the two kids for shopping and packaging. We still need more donations to try and get enough bags for all the kids in the provincial hospital on Christmas Eve. Some DI members have been very generous and that is greatly appreciated.
