Hi i get my pension paid into my bank here into B.P.I. it arrives monday around 6pm, this months payment has not arrived. Has any members had the same problem? i have one friend here on the same system and his is has not arrived also. cheers my mum could spell but but i took after my dad

thats ok larry , our australian pensions go to the USA city bank and are re drected from there . they take about 1500 peso out of it before sending it on to us. cheers my mum could spell but i took after my dad
To the aussies that pm me , i rang tassie and they told me 14000 did not get their money and that it will be in our banks on friday . cheers
Alex; just curious, are you on an Aged, Self Funded Retirement or Disability/ Other Pension? I am on a Disability Pension, have been for the past 29 years now with a permanently broken leg that cannot be repaired, my condition is growing worse and I have no hope of Work Rehabilitation. I have been advised by some to approach Centrelink here regards moving to the Philippines and retaining my Pension, while others tell me it is only for Self Funded Retirees... What is your take on keeping an Aussie Pension whilst living in the Philippines? I am 52 so still a long way from gaining an Aged Pension. Cheers, Brian.
Hi Brian i am on the old age pension, their are many younger aussies here on a disability pension you should be able to come and live here. dont give up on your first try tell them you will appeal if they say no the first time, my mate here did that and got to come here no problems. let me know how you go ill help you get started here. good luck my mum could spell but i took after my dad
Mate THAT IS EXCELLENT NEWS!! :D I HATE Centrelink and Government Departments! My leg is broken, no plate, no screws, no rods. BROKEN... I went to apply for Disability and the Government Doctor refused me and told me he had friends who operated their own Parcel Delivery Services, I called him out on that one as I use to do just that, and double parking, rushing to get the goods out the back of the Truck, checking them off, then the Shop double checking then racing back out, shutting the back up, jumping into the Truck and taking off for the next destination! I appealed their ruling and tricked the Doctor who operated on me to fill in my Forms and was finally approved. I had friends tell me to jus fake a bad back as you cannot prove it, but DAMMIT! My Leg is BROKEN so WHY should I be refused?? At least now I feel *some hope* in my future plans THANKS!
