at my house,at the I-net cafe,at most of the hotels I have stayed across the country; the toilet seats don't easily stay up when lifted and even when up they sometimes come down in mid stream(problem) .i thought "why so common every where"? Is there toilet seat manufacture that has no proper testing department. Then I looked closer and noticed the lip of the toilet tank covers sit too far forward preventing toilet seat from leaning back enough to stay..Then I thought maybe the toilet tank is so close to the wall that there is no room for the tank cover to sit farther back ;so it could be the C/R rooms themselves are too small for ideal toilet placement for worry free ,um ,well you know.:o Hmmm... Maybe installers themselves use open pit latrines at home and no experience with a proper throne??

Or maybe its an anti male secret movement by feminists and male haters looking to dethrone men across the Philippines and eventually the world?!

Be glad that the toilet locations you have been to even have a seat!

Oftentimes in the Philippines I've found there is no seat!

    Ever Mall

:(Some time ago I was in the Ever mall, I used the Public Loo  When I came out, I was asked for a shopping receipt, seems you can only use the Toilets if you have Bought Something, I was going to the Opticians on the first Floor but got took Short, The guard said, you should have gone to the Opticians first. Load of crap I told him, and that's what I would have left at the Opticians, if I had done that. Not sure he had a sense of humour!

    Jack P.

( YES! it had NO Seats :D )

I agree, it's a small annoying matter of attention to detail in construction. If they haven't messed it up too bad there are wider thinner tanks that could be had that would solve the problem. They probably use the tank that came with the bowl if it could work at all. Are handicap facilities even heard of there ? And if they are, is there any real code enforcement? I'm asking partly from a former plumbers curiosity and also because I was paralyzed 2 years ago and while I have made a great recovery, I wouldn't relish the thought of adult diapers being a necessity, as what has happened once can happen again.
