You need to challenge a person's intellect and value of the contribution? I did not know it was that serious here.
You chastise me and you don't even remember what you references: "I'm not sure that is true. Yeah, it definitely is not true. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_traffic-related_death_rate " As an administrator of this website I would expect a higher level of discourse. But you are army so I guess that is to be expected. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discourse
I know what I posted. Wikipedia is not the source of the information...nor are any other encyclopedias. They are tertiary sources...a collection of primary and secondary sources. So no, Wikipedia is NOT the source of the traffic statistics I posted. FYI: The WHO was the primary source of that information. You could have easily found that in the tertiary source: http://www.who.int/violence_injury_prevention/road_safety_status/2015/GSRRS2015_data/en/ *Yawn*
Wake up Dude... I just pulled this from your post page 4, 3rd post from the top... Does that say Wikipedia or not? Memory problems lately? Wrye83: "Yeah, it definitely is not true. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_traffic-related_death_rate "
I already explained how sources worked once to you. I won't do it again because you are too dense, or stubborn, to understand it. Have a good one.
Plus, there are tourists renting bikes here. When they incur traffic violations, will the tickets be sent to the rental agents? That would threaten to put them out of business. The tourist might be back in his home country before the computer’s have collated and sent out the tickets. Ticketing the bike rather than the rider introduces this type of issue.
An excellent reason for those rental companies to start accepting (and require) credit/debit cards. However, it really is just part of being in the vehicle rental business. I suspect in Western countries there is some sort of insurance that covers that type of stuff.
