I am glad to see that the authorities are loosening restrictions on travel within the region. All of the provinces are coping with the wave caused by the delta variant. Cebu is a bit ahead on the timeline.

When the percentage of contagious people is the same in different provinces it does not matter how many people travel between these provinces. The odds of getting sick from a local vs a traveler from another province are the same.

There was a time while Negros Oriental had avoided the contagion by isolating itself. Now that there are as many contagious people here as in other places, keeping people out no longer matters. Same with Cebu. This medical certificate will cost less than the testing.

 

They are the experts and all of this has gone thru a proper scientific process.
