For international travelers there is a different app to submit thr vaccination cards too.

my father-in-law needed to submit his vaccination info from New York while he was in quarentine when he returned a few months ago. According to the site you can get the pass in advance.

Odds are things will change again before you visit but the basic answer is yes, this country, in its own way, does validate vacciations from abroad

So far my German / EU vaccination certificate was accepted at the Port for going NegOr - Cebu, as well as at the Hotel in Cebu City (which apparently gives us access to the breakfast buffet). Will let you know how it goes on the way back.

I may have lost touch with what is reported here somewhere in one of the many threads about travelling - and I know this one is about going to Cebu - but for those who are not aware, entry to Dumaguete Port is currently allowed by showing a negative antigen test (no more than 48 hours old) and an ID - plus handing in a photocopy of the test and of the ID (they did not collect the latter from relatives who entered from Mindanao (7 hours on the ferry from Dapitan - is that usual?) on Friday 12th Nov).

Have used the RoRo between Dumaguete and Dapitan so many times that I lost count. But 7 hours is an extremely long sailing time. Supposedly there were problems with the engines and as a consequence on half of the normal speed?? A slow boat from China is faster.

Returning to Dumaguete was just as easy - coastguard guy at the port had a look at my vaccination certificate, liked the fact that it had a QR code, and had me put my name on the passenger list. No need for any photo copies, but in case you needed one, the ticket selling office had a fairly new sign “xerox 5P”
