Since I was being accused of "trolling" from people left and right, I looked it up in wikipedia (below).

I didn't know I was being so controversial. I certainly wasn't trying to "con emotional response" from you folks.

I liked Melvin better. You know it's interesting, the two "characters" in the last month live here in Dumaguete, even have Melvins street address here, listed twice. neither have dared to show there face or at least come introduce themselves at a DI meeting. That's telling.


Maybe we should just all go to his house and sing him a song and give him a big hug, perhaps throwing flaming poo bombs in his yard. "counter spam measures" Must be all the rain in valencia.:D

yup. .this is the crap The Dane, the Outcast and myself deal with each day, next to Nokia and playstation sellers, Jobagencies from all over the world, political and racial sh*t, missbehaving members who cant read and/or accept rules... and many more, (members don't see most of them as different Keywords put the post right into the moderation queue).
We try to run a quite open board, and compared to many other (specially american) boards you guys and girls here are really great and we are so glad for all the information you provide on DumagueteInfo.
Most of you are adult-people who can argue and fight on one topic and agree on another one, and have a drink together when they(we) meet.

It is sad, that some spammers and idiots forcing us to react in a different way we did 6 or 8 month ago.
It is a free board and cost us a lot of time and to run it. When people don't like it, we don't force them to join. We love Dumaguete and what we are doing here.

After reading your post , Rhoody, I was glad that my earlier reply today to that fake person seemed to be perfectly in line with what you are explaining now.
Why get people a kick by doing this kind of 'games' ?
Split personalities ? Bored people ? Frustrated people ? or ....or... or....
I guess the advise in RHB's reaction (which he himself did not follow however) is the best to do here....ignoring.
I will do so from NOW on !:D

rhoody, just out of curiousity, is this person who keeps returning to the board to troll have a philippines IP or from somewhere elsewhere? maybe if you posted his IP so we could see where he was from he'd stop returning to post such trash.

that poor guy was educated enough to post his physical address twice on DI (see RHB-post above).

I have the IP-address. One Problem is that some provider using proxy-server (like globe) with changing IP-addreses, and this would block other users too if I block that IP.
We just need to run DI a bit more strickt, what is not what we want, but what we are forced to. A few idiots taking big influence on all other members.
