    Ha, ha. Than I rather prefer to wear a spare tubeless tire around my neck as a trendy/fashionable neck-less.

    I always carry a spare tube with me as welll as a portable bicycle pump). Both have saved me on a few occasions; with a slow leak, you can pump up the tire and drive to vulcanizing; with multple holes or broken valve stem, you have a replacement tube! The other major problem I have found with tubed tires is that you can make the tube shift when braking hard. If you use the retaining nut on the valve stem (most Filipinos throw it away), you can stress the valve stem mount to the point where the valve tears away from the tube (happened to me at three times). If you do not use the retaining nut, you can see when the tube starts to shift and repair the problem, but this lets more dirt inside between the tube and tire causing wear and eventual flats.

    The tire slipping did not happen to me yet and I have a Stainless steel washer under the nut to prevent dirt from getting past the valve stem, maybe you are driving and braking to hard...

    The only time I have ever seen tire slippage was when the tire pressure was too low.

    It is better to have a reasonable high tire pressure, if you put the full load on the Bike, like two passengers and some cargo, you then should look at your tires before starting the ride. If they compress about 1-2cm then you are fine to go, if you see two bulges, one on either side then you are to low on air, if you drive this way, a pointed stone or some sharp concrete edge, can cut your tire.
