I wondered how long it would be before this came up! There has also been a lot of discussions elsewhere about this subject, it's strange when a local gets killed it's headline news and demonstrations but when a foreigner gets killed most of the time it is swept under the carpet!
And this transgender was out in a bar when it was engaged to a German guy, I agree the soldier should be punished for the crime but all the fuss over this issue arghhh!
Certain people have very short memories here, eg WW2, Yolanda and many other times other countries have helped out here.
I know filipinas in the uk and we treat everyone the same with the same laws for everyone,not so here!

 

The Philippine people will have more luck controlling the Muslims than they will the US. They know as soon as they tell the US to p*ss off China will start to lay claims to more than just some small islands out in the middle of nowhere.

 

Burning an American flag for this guy's alleged actions is over the top. Cutting off the nose to spite the face.

The US is not going to hand over a troop when the Filipino people are on an active witch hunt. They want to ensure that their troops are given a fair trail....and given these turds are burning American flags it's quite obvious that the Marine would not get one if handed over to the Philippines.

The Marine killing the ladyboy has a much easier topic to talk about and, in the end, resolve. Dealing with terrorism and the Muslim population in the south has no simple solution. Loss of life is always a tragedy....even more so when it is in the name of an imaginary god.
