    hopefully the president will rethink this and "walk back" his remarks about withdrawing the special forces. Like yourself, I was also at Naval Station Subic Bay from 75-77 during the Marcos era. Didn't have any problems during the martial law period living out in Olongapo (the "jungle" area).
