    I don't know.

So, what are your qualifications? Are you a teacher or ex teacher? Have you taught bisayan to foreigners before or is this just a hobby that provides an opportunity to earn some extra money? No offence meant but is this just teaching words or will you be structuring lessons to include correct use of grammar etc etc?

Yes, I was a teacher for many years and still am on a freelance basis. And yes, I had taught Bisayan to foreigners years and years ago----that was a group composed of 10 eager-to-learn foreigners who did not want to feel like a plant whenever relatives of their wives or girlfriends come around. I teach English so I do my best to incorporate some grammatical explanations to some lessons although not all Bisayan expressions have grammatical logic. And yes, it would be nice to also earn some extra money from this effort.

Oh really? I lost track then---I will have to actually write down all the names so I don't miss out anyone.

Good question. It depends on how many we are. I could use my small place if the number is small but if there are around 5 people I need to get a more comfortable and convenient place. I am open to suggestions though.

You can rent a meeting room at a coworking space.

Buglas Isla Cowork is located on Rizal Boulevard and is very Western leaning.

UNI-Com coworkspace is in Silliman Portal West and has a more intimate local vibe.

Maybe one of the students would volunteer their home for free.

Wow, thanks for the suggestions, SkipJack. I will consider those options.

Its success depends on members as well. I know this will be of mutual benefit in the long run.

SkipJack has very helpful suggestions. I will check out the rates of those places tomorrow.

There are more or less 7 people who showed interest in learning Visaya or Bisaya and most of them prefer real-time tutoring which would require a decent and convenient place for such a purpose. I will try to scout for such a place which we could use for an hour and 15 minutes----quick question----would 3x a week meeting be fine with you or do you prefer a daily schedule?

I'm fine with three times a week. No limitation in day of week and time of day. Returning home in daylight would be nice.

Sure. Still on planning stage. If you arrive June 6, then maybe you could join the group by then.
