My parents sometimes ask me why I like living in Asia. This is the UK 3 hours ago. View attachment 2977
Judging by the second photo it looks like its been snowing pretty hard there as well, is that your place?
yeah, a lot of snow, and freezing cold, thats why the two on the first picture have so many cloth compared to what they wear in their own (heated) four walls... the pictures were taken on Apo Island... cheers Rhoody
oh yeah.. Apo island! my favorite dive spot.. (not that i've been diving there) but i have been there for a couple times already, snorkelling.. i just cant get enough of the colorful fish as well as the corals with different sizes and shapes! it's very much alive compared to those corals in siquijor. For those visiting Duma, i strongly recommend that you at least take a day tour around that island and get to see the wonderful world down under the sea. Furthermore, for nature-lovers or birdwatchers, you can also climb up those 350 steps to the lighthouse and see some colorful birds.. banded kingfisher, blacknaped oriole, phil. coucal, olive-backed sunbirds, brahminy kites, glossy starlings, magpie robins, pied triller, pied fantail, peaceful doves, alot of pigeons w/c includes pied imperial, and of course the eurasian tree sparrows and swifts. :D
Thanks for the warm photos Rhoody....real cool! I think andie forgot to mention swallows too, hahaha Keep smiling regards JB
It was great today in the UK.First snow we've seen for over a year.My wife was outside playing in the snow building snowmen with our eldest.Shame it's all gone now.We have just returned from a month in the Philippines which could of been a couple of months longer. It rained a lot, which I liked because at least it was cooler. The longest I have stayed in the Philippines is 6 months but I was glad to get back to a climate, with seasons, which aren't just sunny and rainy.
