Hello All, I was wondering if anyone new what kind of octopus this was, I found it at night in Waikiki Oahu. I have lots of identification books on Hawaiian marine life, and not one octopus fits the discription of this guy. Closest thing to it looks like an Ornate Octopus, but it does not have the elongated head, or white spots.. Can anyone give me a sure identify? Thanks!!
Have you tried dragging and dropping the image you posted above onto Google Images? That might be a way to find a description for it. I would try it but my connection is too slow.
