In a perfect world I would agree but if Germany is anything like so many western nations that I am familiar with elderly care is sorely lacking. Many relatives would rather have an elderly relative out of sight and out of mind in some facility being taken care of by strangers than be bothered doing it themselves. Here in PI if he married a decent local he will be looked after and taken care of by relatives much better than in many western nations. At least here the elderly are revered unlike many other places. Most of Asia is the same. My two cents worth... That and P50 will buy you a cup of coffee too... Maybe!

There is a restaurant down by Robinsons which is owned by an Austrian. Andy's Grill. Also on the Boulevard there is Casablanca, which is owned by an Austrian called Gunther. I was in Dumaguete until last month. Also try Bambulo up from Bacong. That resort is owned by a Swiss man.
