Vaccines don't protect you from the same day you receive them. As a doctor I'm sure she understood this. If not then she should have no business being a doctor.

The is quite a bit of separation between Dumaguete and Sibulan once you get away from the population density right around the airport.

Surely Dumaguete City and Sibulan should be grouped together (total 114) as there is no separation between them. People locally should be doing that to get a fairer representation of the risk.-

Is there something special that the people of the UK doing to increase these mutations or is it due to their ability to test for genetic mutations? I would think it was the latter and that there are far more variants out there than we currently know about.

Moderna and Pfizer are my tops, but I'll take what gets here. Too bad we can't form an Expat's Buyers Club and go in with a pharma or other org and get Moderna.

It is becoming obvious that a multi approach is required. No vaccine is 100% - one may even be only 50%. It is possible that three vaccinations may be required, with annual ones following. It is even likely that this dodgy virus will outwit any current vaccine and new ones will have to be manufactured. And no mask is 100%. It needs combinations of vaccine/mask/social distancing/awareness/testing/contact tracing/quarantine.-

Interestingly enough, they've not kept the efficacy a secret and this is stated quite clearly in almost all documentation I've seen regarding the vaccines. Just like a mask, the vaccine will not protect you 100%.-

I understand they have Sinovac and AstraZeneca available. You don't get to choose, you take which one they are using at the time you go in for your appointment.
