To avoid a great deal of nonsense to come in the future, taking the vaccine, whatever brand it might be, makes sense, even if only from that perspective. Taking Sinovac shouldn't be something to admit with shame. As an aside, are you able to speak Chinese yet?
Never took a needle since I was 18 in the army. 41 years ago. If anyone tries to stick me I will bury it in one of their eyes...... no nonsense about that! Cheers!
The Chinese did not stipulate the protocol, and some data may not have been released. Thailand is still using it,(Sinovac) though they reported six stroke like side effects. These are usually temporary. Singapore got some but hasn't used it yet from what I can tell. Anyway, if it's offered I will take Sinovac as it is at least 25% effective against the P1 variant. Anybody heard of a sign up list for Valencia?
Officials with Anvisa, Brazil’s health regulatory agency, said Monday that documentation provided by the Gamaleya Research Institute in Moscow didn’t provide enough information about the safety and efficacy of the Sputnik V vaccine — including information on any serious side effects. The documents also indicated that the inactivated cold viruses the vaccine relies on to deliver an immune response against the coronavirus, which are supposed to be unable to reproduce, were in fact able to do so. This finding shocked vaccine experts. If confirmed, it suggests manufacturing was botched and that the Sputnik V vaccine is unlikely to win approval from other leading regulators around the world. “If this is true, Sputnik is nixed,” John Moore, a virologist at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, told BuzzFeed News. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/peteraldhous/sputnik-covid-vaccine-safety-worries
