Ok, so let’s castigate a whole 1 odd Billion on the basis of religious odd mil or two. The super rich too. Sound familiar? And let’s face it, let’s isolate that particular part of the world that votes on a particular religious belief causing what? 400,000 deaths? C’mon man people in glass houses etc. Just as bad as each other. And they never invaded Iraq etc either.

True, from that IP perspective. But it's equally true that if the first world doesn't soon help the third world where it's now raging, variants will re-afflict the first world and so will global economic damage. From the larger perspective, we're all in it together.

Then make sure those workers get their vaccines. They are essential personnel who is contributing to ending this pandemic. Everyone else needs to wait their turn. The Indian people and government brought this on themselves. Conspiracy theories, holding massive religious events in the middle of a pandemic, denial that the virus is real, etc. The county should be quarantined from the rest of the world.

It does not make any sense. When the oxygen masks drop in a plane you put yours on before helping those that cannot help themselves. The world needs developed countries to get back on track first. Trying to help those that cannot help themselves first is a recipe for disaster. You'll just end up putting yourself in their situation.

Was it managed well or does population density and more people living in a household have more to do with how fast it spreads? Bacolod is a major urban city with a larger population and economy than Dumaguete. They have more people, money and resources than Dumaguete. I'm not surprised at all that Bacolod has more vaccination centers and has received more assistance.

If there are no, or few, vaccination centers here how is that an example of the Negros Oriental government handling the pandemic better than Occidental?

    I don't know.
Where are the vaccination centers here in Dumaguete?

Bacolod has already opened 9 vaccination centers:

    SM City Bacolod
    Ayala Malls Capitol Central

Aside from the malls, he added the city already opened seven new vaccination centers in various barangays to accommodate the healthcare workers (A1), senior citizens (A2), and persons with comorbidities (A3) eligible priority groups who have yet to receive Covid-19 vaccine jabs.

Do I understand this correctly? Cities that managed the pandemic well are punished by being deprived of resources like testing machines (in Dumaguete a private company donated the machines) and vaccines. Meanwhile the national task force overrules local procedures which causes a more contagious variant to spread.
