Husband and wife (or BF / GF), forgot names already... "He" is, i believe, Aussie. She is Filipina and the Chef, did some school, at DACA and in Thailand. Nice place, on our list of places to-go...

Just a note: a sign can point burglars a hint that the owners are not there.

I tried spice in valencia today and it was very nice, tried the shrimp vindaloo with rice and naan bread. Prob the nicest curry ive had from a non indian resto.
The menu is good and varied from indian, thai, filipino and a few others.-

I went there last night. fish and chips. Fish very good but Jollibee-type fries, not "proper" chips. The retarded server has been replaced with a lad who is very efficient, pleasant and has very good English. Big improvement on my first visit with DavyL200. The owner was present last night, by the way.

Tried it out, pretty good, tasted like pad kee mao, a bit different, but there are a dozen different ones in SF. Good work on the sauce and the rice noodles, lots of veggies. Was hoping for ground beef, but chicken good, and seafood available (didn't try it)..
Definitely worth adding it to the list of restaurants in Dgte / Val...-

Hey Doc, good point, but you balance that against, one, the place is closed, so nobody is there anyway, but two, you might not p*ss off a long nose. It's called a "Risk-Benefit Analysis." And yes, it will tell people the owner won't be there for some time... Hire a kid to "check on the place" couple times a day and collect trash in the doorway ???

If you stopped by you could have answered your own question by trying it out.
She never claimed it to be a thai resto. I'm changing the title of this thread. It is misleading and obviously confusing people.-
