⌛ want to live in Damaquete !!!

hello all of you !! I am a Netherlands businessman involved in many kind of projects and wish to make my move to Damaquete coz we (my wife two kids and I) are sick and tired of Manila the smock and all other typical Metropole things. Will somebody please inform us WHERE to find rental houses , Agenty and general information how to start out succesfully ?

Any proposal for serious business doing will be taken under consideration as well Please sedn us some nice detailed info please !!

Waarom kijk je niet even op Holland & Philippines Website en klik even de link aan PH forum.
Daar barst het van de informatie over Dumaquete en er zitten(wonen ) veel leden in Dumaquete of in de omgeving van die stad.
Kan begrijpen dat je wilt vluchten uit Manilla en Dumaquete is een goede stad om je te vestigen.

Hi earl , sounds nice you consider a move for Dumaguete. We are one of the bunch here who will move to Dumaguete but not any sooner. I hope you’ll find what you are looking for in Dumaguete.

Perhaps another option for a house with nicer less crowded surroundings is to look for rental houses around the metro Dumaguete towns like Sibulan,Valencia,Bacong even in Dauin and Zamboangita or out of the city but near Dumaguete area. Either near or by the seaside or out in the lush few degrees cooler and very fertile ‘mountain’ environment of Valencia which will only get you around 20_30 minutes to Dumaguete, considering the traffic .

If you’re serious about moving to this city , I guess the best bet is for you both and your wife to make a special trip to Dumaguete and find a house that you like. Real estate and house lettings isn’t that organize and mature yet in general sense around the Philippines, somehow bit of a set back .Though there are few websites that do display few houses for rent ,one I could site is the ‘island properties’ which also has more fucos on dumaguete properties and few lettings:

but choices are still very limited in that site though. One or two forum messages here also made reference to the WHY NOT along the boulevard that post houses for rent .

Who Not

Well Why not is surely becoming our family slogan !! Now we live 2 kilometers away from the runway of NAIA Int. Airport in paranque /manila. I wonder of any of you ever tried to take a jeepney on Roxas or Taft duiring rush hour here. I had to go to the E R of a hospital for medication and treatment .. cost 6 T only !!! Exiting Manila....!!!

Anway we will make a trip as soon as possible we have some more grip on info from you guys and girls. Is any of you in bsuiness over there ? Perhaps in Aquaculture ??? I have been an intermediary for grants ( funds ) from the Netherlands for years now and our country welcomes innovative projects in "the province ' with open arms schouldering for 50% of the total investments to be made. Sure would like to maintain doing business as i am not the type of guy that can sit down doing nothing all day long . But it sure looks tempting to me to do that at your Island.... Love hear more and more and hopefully soon meet up with some of you. Is there any kind of business council in Dumaguete for foreigners? I am Board trustee here of the Philippine Netherlands Business Council . We try to draw attention from the Netherlands to invest in the Phils...
