After some online avenues last 2 weeks, have finally sold one of my faved watches ever. MY Omega 300 Seamaster 1964 (all original) and got an astounding 20,000 Canadian from a Filipino business man. Absolutely another great end to what's always a good week for me. Here's the watch and I thought I had to wait till Monday (as banks are open then) but got payment in full today (800 thousand peso) Had to sell it as Philippines is no where to wear it, Saddened to see it go. This is the watch on my channel. Still have a Breitling Chrono-mat 18k gold available for 135,000 peso. Cheers and be safe out there! And still on my wrist (available)> I still have 2 Bamford Rolex watches but just cannot let them go. Lost a Rolex Yacht Master in 2008 when I fired a spear gun (Cressi-Star 88) and it tore off and sunk to the bottom of the Philippine Sea Sea! I will be seeking that watch back after a few hours of diving real soon! Watch investing has always been an awesome side road! 2 of my prized watches at my Flickr site gaining 15% a year!
Incredible collection. That is an amazing Seamaster 300 and the black face Bamford Rolex looks very good.
Thanks. Have been a Watch collector 30+ years and sold off most prior to leaving Canada. Never thought I would loose the bug for it but it just no longer seems to thrill me Philippines has made me less Yah hit the nail on the head mentioning black face as it has always been my faved feature I use to seek out on most watches I have owned. Another vintage I adore but will not sell in black face.
