⌛ Watch out for these two girls

A couple of local girls are regularly bilking expat wanna be boyfriends out of cell phones, scooters, cash..anything they can.

No, I'm not one of their victims, but I know some who have been. Their names are S_ _ _ H and M_ _ _ H, which should be enough info to ring a bell with anyone currently associating with them, or future victims. They're sisters as well!


A popular Cebu forum encourages reports such as these, I hope this forum doesn't mind alerts to its' members.

 

Surfin USA , no problem to mention the first name. It is actually a legal problem to mention the full name and accusing somebody doing things or calling names, whatever vowel are changed. (reason for deleting the direct relpy post).

The other side is that I do have big-time problems to feel pity for "educated" longnoses, if their brain goes south and they support the local economy like that.

The 2 (and I know them) are well known in town, like many others.

Here comes the "but":
If an Expat falls for that, he does not deserve better...
Other interested Parties (ma(i)nly tourists and short-term-visitors) won't meet those girls in church. They hang around where longnoses go to "find" that kind of girl for exactly one reason... (and I doubt that 40 - 65 year old men are that much into kiddy-disco-music). Additionally that type of young women have a kind of obvious appearance and attitude..

So if a nice smile, dark eyes and brown hair and maybe some other qualities (of course I mean things like chatting or telling heartbreaking stories) are enough to open an the vast superior long-noses wallet, some people may reconsider their statements I heard in several locations about how stupid locals are.

I am aware that the story of your victim is "of course" absolutely different and I "really" never heard that phrase before.

Consider it "learning by doing" and the fees were quite cheap in that case. An escort service in the countries most Duma-visitors are coming from for the same time period would cost much more than a cellphone or a second hand scooter...
There are other victims who bought house and lot after two 2-week holiday on the name of the GF..

I truly believe that posting all that names would not help anybody, as you would hear only answers like how different THAT case is.

If somebody does not see the obvious signs, does not listen to friend advices, he would never believe what is written on a board anonymous somewhere in the world.

well it's nice to know you support that sort of action by local girls and feel that you need to "protect" them!! as long as YOU consider the particular longnose "stupid", some people have what's called compassion, just cos you've been here years and spend lots of time in AC (so have heard all the sob stories) don't mean others have also, they need warning constantly in my opinion, as they may just not be as street smart as you!

As for deleteing my last post, that did not say anything bad about Gina, and she deserves it!!! i mearly said she may find friends in them sort of people, but i think i can now add you to that list also, nice to know where people stand at the end of the day.

 

I have to agree with the sagacious Rhoody also. If you are not willing to put in the time to ensure you are hooking up with a good girl, then your not looking for a "good" girl. Makes me think of the song that ugly rich english guy sang "you cant always get what you want, but if you try some time, you just might find, you get what you need."

 

there are actually people that come to the Philippines for something more than sex!! it's actually called..... holidays or vacation! seems a shame that some people can only relate sex to the word Philippines!

but i guess, it'll take time to remove the US influance here, maybe another 30 yrs when all the returning ex-soldiers are dead, but to condon that sort of behaviour, just cos someone maybe taken in by it, is wrong on any level!!

so maybe as moderator, if your aware of these sort of "tales" it should be your duty to inform the members that Dumaguete isn't just a city of Gentle people??? or the so called "stupid"ones will never be aware cos there being protected!

Your posts are just unapproved and interested parties can have it via PM, so they can read what words and language you used, anyway, that language is totally of place here.

??? Did I consider particular longnoses as "stupid".. can't see that anywhere. I am suggesting that some longnoses should reconsider their judgment about several statements I heard

actually I spend more time in PG, Mindanao, Cebu, Siquijor or Palawan (just to mention a few) than in AC what simply means I am living and learning in/from a country I choose to live in.

There are also many examples on DI and hundreds other boards about the PI in many languages , which make it very obvious that any warnings won't help at all, from private ones to supporting stories to houses to businesses.

Each single individual knows it better and has to do what they think it's right and the best for them. Sometimes it works out fine, sometimes it won't.

Believe me I paid way more than a scooter for "educational-fees" and I am the perfect example for the "my-cases is different-thingy" in the 8 years i am in the country.

... If somebody does not want to get hooked, he will not get hooked and it is definitely NOT our duty to teach common sense where mama, papa, home-education and life experience failed.

 

Ok guys "breaktime!" Just to put it on record, I do not condone or protect girls who swindle foreigners or locals. Just report them to the police? Or file a case in court?
