    Welcome to the forum, John.
If you are Catholic, there is a big cathedral and a Redemptorist church. If you are Presbyterian, there is the Silliman University Church and the UCCP church. There are also Baptist, Gospel, Chinese, Korean, Adventist, and Mormon churches. The small towns around Dumaguete have a plethora of Christian Churches as well.

    Welcome to Dumaguete Info...

The best way to find a good place is probably to rent a car/scooter/pedicab and just drive around looking for "FOR RENT" signs...

Other than that there is a signboard in Why Not with a lot of houses posted.

We found our house there by using an agent and I regret doing that, first of all the agent charges around a months rent (which of course in the end is out of your pocket) and this particular agent became a nuisance even after we moved in to the house.

So my suggestion is DIY

welcome John and your family! God Bless with your search of a good church! Pls let me know the results if you reach there before me.

I enjoyed the Catholic services across from Lee Super Plaza when I lived there since the priest spoke English sermons. No, I am not Catholic but it was all that I could find in English and I really did enjoy his updated/uplifting sermons.

    It's me brother .....John

Welcome on the forum namesake ! John (alias Yellyfish)
Yes there are many churches here so it won't be a problem at all to find the one of your choise when you are here and drive on your motorbike, combining searches for churches and real estate.
Take the time, as the Dane said.
Be aware....to bike to all the churches will keep you off the house for quite some days :D
